20411B: Administering Windows
This five-day instructor-led course course will
primarily cover the administration tasks necessary
to maintain a Windows Server 2012 infrastructure,
such as user and group management, network access
and data security.
20412B: Configuring Advanced
Windows Server 2012: During this five-day
course, this course will primarily cover advanced
configuration and services tasks necessary to
deploy, manage and maintain a Windows Server 2012
infrastructure, such as identity management and
identity federation, network load balancing,
business continuity and disaster recovery, fault
tolerance and rights management.
20413B: Designing and
Implementing a Server Infrastructure:
This five-day instructor-led course provides you
with the skills and knowledge needed to plan,
design, and deploy a physical and logical Windows
Server 2012 Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)
infrastructure. The course also provides the skills
to perform name resolution, application integration,
optimization of automate remediation and maintenance
of network services.
20414B: Implementing an
Advanced Server Infrastructure: In
this course, students will learn how to plan and
implement some of the more advanced features
available in Windows Server 2012. Course 20413A is a
prerequisite course for this course.
20415A: Implementing a Desktop
Infrastructure: This 5-day instructor-led
course provides you with the skills and knowledge
needed to plan, design, and implement a Windows 8
20416A: Implementing Desktop
Application Environments: This five-day
course provides students with the skills and
knowledge to be able to design, deploy and manage a
physical as well as a virtual Windows Server 2012
application management infrastructure.
20417A: Upgrading your Skills
to MCSA Windows Server 2012: This will
explain new features and functionality in Windows
Server 2012 around management, networking
infrastructure, storage, access control, Hyper-V,
high availability, and identity federation. Specific
technologies covered will include Dynamic Access
Control(DAC), Failover Clustering, Microsoft Online
Backup and changes with Active Directory, and
Hyper-V and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).
It is not a product upgrade course, detailing the
considerations for migrating and upgrading your
specific environment to Windows Server 2012.
However, this course will update your skills to
Windows Server 2012. This course is also preparation
material, and maps directly to, the Exam 70-417:
Upgrading Your Skills to MCSA Windows Server 2012.
Administration with Windows PowerShell 3.0:
This five day course provides students with the
fundamental knowledge and skills to use Windows
PowerShell 3.0 for administering and automating
administration of Windows based servers. It focuses
on primary Windows PowerShell command-line features
and techniques, and will provide prerequisite skills
supporting many different Microsoft products.
