As a St. Louis based computer training company dedicated to an ongoing commitment to our community, Premier Knowledge Solutions and our employees are proud to work with a number of local non-profit organizations. Our employees volunteer, sit on various committees, and even spear-head their own non-profit organizations in order to help improve our community and the lives of individuals in need.
At our computer training facility, our employees and instructors are also taking steps to improve our community by adopting green and environmentally friendly business practices. For example, in 2010 we helped recycle over 1 million pounds of materials from our St. Louis computer training campus. Our company and our employees believe that by doing our part to promote a green business environment and to help local St. Louis area non-profit organizations, we can improve our community overall.
Premier Knowledge Solutions is devoted to our attempt to become an environmentally friendly computer training company. Therefore, at our St. Louis computer training campus, we take the following steps to help achieve this goal:
The employees of our computer training firm have chosen to focus their involvement and charity work largely between two main charities, while also maintaining membership and volunteering roles within numerous others. The main charities with which our computer training company is involved include the Foundation for Children with Atypical HUS and Big Brother Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri.
Foundation for Children with Atypical HUS
This organization is directed by Premier Knowledge Solutions’ CFO, Bill Biermann. The non-profit organization is propelled by three main goals:
With over 27 core members and 600 yearly participants in various fundraisers, including many of our computer training facility staff, this Foundation is growing and spreading its message. Fundraising activities that benefit this organization include an annual Trivia Night and Shop-Til-You-Drop days. Premier Knowledge Solutions also sponsors several “Casual Days” throughout the year to raise money for this cause as well.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri
Premier Knowledge Solutions has sponsored several events with BBBS, including the recent Making it Home project and Bowl for Kids’ Sake. With each event sponsored by our computer training firm, the organization is able to fuel their mission statement and raise money to “match” volunteers with children. Several of our St. Louis computer training office employees are also involved with the Friends Committee and the Big Brother/Big Sister program in which they mentor a young child.
Other non-profit organizations and charities with which our company and computer training employees are involved include:
